“We saw other agents in our marketing doing these videos with beautiful video effects. We knew we wanted to compete with that.”

The Teel Team sells homes around Richland Chambers Lake in Corsicana, Texas. John and Julie Teel built the RE/MAX Lakeside Dreams office there in 2007. Jessica is the team's listing coordinator. She supports about six agents.
Every listing needs to get seen, and social media is where buyers scroll. That is hard. “It's just really hard for any content to stand out on social media,” Jessica says.
Video helps a listing stand out. But video costs money and time. “If we had to shoot our videos, it was $150 a video with our in-house photographer,” she says. Then the team waited 24 to 48 hours to get each video back.
For a team with about six agents, every listing meant another $150 and another one to two days of waiting. Then the team saw other agents posting a new kind of listing video, full of motion. “We knew we wanted to compete with that,” Jessica says.
The strategy
So Jessica set up AutoReel to:
- Turn each listing's photos into a property video. She spends about 15 minutes picking and uploading photos, and the video is ready about five minutes later
- Add lifestyle motion, like ceiling fans that spin and fireplaces that light up, so each room feels lived in
- Use virtual staging to show buyers what a room could look like
The impact
Before, every listing video meant a $150 photographer fee and a 24 to 48 hour wait. Now Jessica spends about 15 minutes picking and uploading photos. The property video is back about five minutes later.
The videos also give the team what was missing on social media: motion. A fan that spins. A fireplace that lights up. A staged room that feels like home.
“We've been super impressed with them. They come out so smooth every time.”
