Agent introduction video

Definition

An agent introduction video is a short video that introduces a real estate agent to potential clients: who they are, where they work, what they specialize in and why someone should work with them.

It usually runs 30 to 90 seconds and lives on the agent's website, social profiles, email signature and listing presentation materials. It works because real estate is personal.

Before someone calls you, they want a sense of what you're like. A video lets them see your face, hear your voice and get a feel for your personality in a way a written bio can't.

What to include

  • Your name, brokerage and service area.
  • What you specialize in, such as first-time buyers, luxury, relocation, investors or a specific neighborhood.
  • One or two things that make you different, backed by something real like years in the area, a specific approach or client results.
  • A short personal note that makes you human.
  • A clear next step: call, book a consultation or visit your website.

Tips

  • Film in good natural light with clean audio. Audio quality matters more than the camera.
  • Talk to one person, not an audience.
  • Keep it under 90 seconds.
  • Add captions.
  • Show as well as tell, with clips of you at listings or around the neighborhood.

If you're uncomfortable on camera, you have options: a voiceover over footage of your listings and area, or an AI avatar or cloned voice, used with clear disclosure so clients aren't misled about who they're hearing. Send it before a listing appointment and the seller walks in already feeling like they know you.
